Back in 2019, it all began with a simple talk delving into the potential of Dungeons & Dragons in Special Educational Needs schools. We discovered how this unique game could nurture essential skills for learners’ future beyond the school walls. During the school summer break, we ran a dedicated six-week session. The feedback was astounding, revealing how even these brief encounters cultivated remarkable improvements in communication and confidence among the participants.
First victories! and Party kills!
Despite the challenges posed by the lockdown restrictions, the sessions we initiated the previous year continued to thrive. Adapting to the situation, we shifted our sessions online, and to our delight, the new virtual format garnered just as much popularity, if not more. With this transformation, we could maintain our dedicated participants and extend our reach to audiences all across the UK, uniting adventurers from every corner of the nation.
